...From the antique times, it was usual for the traveller
who was entering the city from Porta Rocca walking through
the Main street (nowadays Corso Cavour), to stop by
the numerous inns to taste the good wine in exchange
of homemade gastronomic products.
Still nowadays the Antica cantina, in the historic Monaldeschi
square, offers the occasion to find again the old habits;
to taste the quality of products that history and tradition
have handed down.
